"Killer Apps" for Digital Photos
As a teacher, I am always taking photos in the classroom as a learning tool, to showcase student work, for use in student projects, on field trips, etc. Included in this session are ideas for editing, organizing, and using digital photos in the classroom. Students and teachers alike will enjoy using these applications to manage photos and create professional looking presentations.
These are the goals for this workshop:
*Learn how to resize photos for inclusion in emails, websites, and documents,
*Tips for filing photos;
*Locate and try some easy to use photo applications ("killer apps") that are found on the most commonly used productivity applications or web 2.0 applications that are generally accepted by most monitored school servers.
To get started, a short video clip below gives a professional's view of simple digital picture taking tips.
